Dr. Berman has been a contributor to the monthly Ethical Educator column in School Administrator magazine since January 2012. The column earned Honorable Mention in the magazine department of the 2013 Tabbie Awards from the Trade Association and Business Publications International, the Gold Editorial Tabbie Awards in 2021 and 2022, and the Silver Award in the 2024 Azbee National Awards of Excellence sponsored by the American Society of Business Publication Editors. His book, with co-authors David Rubin and Joyce Barnes, includes 100 of the cases that appeared in columns between January 2012 and December 2021.
