Sheldon Berman Board Service Award

At a gathering of current and past board members on May 16, 2015, Dr. Berman received a Board Service Award for his 32 years of service on the board of Educators for Social Responsibility (1982-2014) from Larry Dieringer, Executive Director. The recognition reads, “In recognition of your commitment to social justice and leadership in educating for a safe, democratic and just world.” He was also given the appointment of Emeritus Director for Engaging Schools, the new name for Educators for Social Responsibility.
